2008 Winning C2NY Artists

C2NY, City Culture New York, is a local New York City contest and initiative presented by Look At Life and Metro New York newspaper, along with the City Parks Foundation to incorporate the visual arts into the 2008 season of Central Park SummerStage. Resident NYC artists and photographers were asked to submit work that represented the spirit and culture of the city, and from hundreds of applicants just nine winners were chosen. C2NY presented the work of these nine NY-based visual artists at nine separate performances during this years Central Park SummerStage season and at each show one piece of work was raffled off, with all money donated to the City Parks Foundation.
